In my opinion, the appliance is designed for continuous operation.
I don't know in dB, but it's certainly half as loud as a dust collector.

Don't know of a cheaper offer at the moment! However, I recommend refilling the enclosed bag into a 60 litre waste bag and reattaching the original bag to the extraction system.
