It is stable enough to hold it easily. I mounted it myself without having any expertise in this.
I suppose it should pass but it will be upright and the top of the screen tilts slightly towards the back which can cause reflections on the screen whether it's upright or horizontal. I have a 55 inch screen and frankly I was surprised at the size of the screen.

A colleague of mine clarified it at the time. The statement was no, the stand does not fit the 65" version.
