Does the fan restart normally after a power failure or do I have to switch it back on manually? I would like to operate it through a remote-controlled socket.

Yes it works, you can only switch it on/off via the rotary knob.

My new Rowenta "Turbo Silence Extrem" fan (70w) again made a sort of squeaking noise when it turned on the right side! Really annoying in the middle of the night. What do you mean by "removing the sweep" at night? You don't run it anymore? From time to time I have taken the "handle" on the "head" of the motor and pulled it hard - and the squealing stops! But the noise comes back when I turn it off and on in the evening ..... I'm thinking of ordering another one! I must have been the lucky one to get the one that "squeaks" in night mode. My other Rowenta (which looks stronger - but old! in metallic grey) never did that for years - and as soon as I bought it - everything worked fine. But now it has given up the ghost and I'm not really happy with the new one.

Same thing for me. Slight noise when the sweep is on at night. By deactivating it and leaving only the propeller running on "silent night", it is discreet

My brand new fan makes a kind of squeaking noise when it turns on its side and when it is in "Silent Night! Very annoying - especially at night, and when the fan is new! I took it apart, put it back together... but no! But if I put my hand on the "motor head" - the noise stops! Any explanation - solution?

Do I have it right: The fan is the best-seller (!!) at Galaxus. The unit costs just under a hundred euros. And then it doesn't even have a timer? And it doesn't even have a remote control? That can't be true. Or have I simply not looked properly? It has to have a timer and remote control - especially for the price. Thanks for a quick feedback.

Hello :) The unit has a knob to set the different levels ( 0 = OFF, 1, 2, Turbo and Silent Mode ) If you have set a level and use the plug in a timer this should work.
