QNAP recommends the use of two identical RAM modules. For example, the following product: HyperX Impact (2x, 4GB, DDR3L-1600 (PC3-12800), SODIMM 204)
From what I have read in the forums, it should work like this. I installed the bar in the TS 453 Pro and it works perfectly. Note, however, that you only install one or two of the same type.
