Does your AV receiver or amplifier have a PreOUT connection? If so, you can connect it.
Hi, I've had a quick look through the Onkyo manual and this system needs an active subwoofer, and the Polk PSW 111 is an active subwoofer, so it should work. I am very happy with it.
