Unfortunately, it has to be a room, or at best an adjoining open room, otherwise the effect fizzles out. We have tried it with room partitioning, but it is not usable. Great results in our largest room.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer this question seriously as I haven't had the appliance in operation for very long. What I can say is that the appliance evaporates a lot of water (refill every 2 days) and does so in auto mode. The appliance is 20 cm away from the furniture.
