Unfortunately I do not know Mfg
does the picture change when you go to the main menu? have you tried playing something from a usb stick. if you never notice a change in the picture, it will be due to the cable or the output of the player... at least from here😜
Good morning I'm sorry, I didn't even know there was such a function until now. That's why I can't help you any further. Good luck!
I have just checked this on the device with the latest firmware and Zattoo is unfortunately not offered in the range of apps.
The app netflix is embedded in the dvd player. You will need a network or wifi connection to connect your player to internet and that's it.
Hello Rolf, I bought the player for a customer (after a rather mediocre experience with the Sony BDP-S6700) and the customer is now happy. The DP-UB424 has an excellent price-performance ratio! However, I did some research and found the following: "You can change the position as well as the size of the subtitles via a zoom function during operation." Unfortunately, in the operating instructions I only found how to select the "subtitle menu", but not the available setting options. I am therefore basing my statement on information from the Internet, i.e. "without guarantee"! I hope I could be of some help. Have fun & LG, Andreas
Hello Clicme60 In the manual page 11 /chapter "Connection to an amplifier / receiver " it is described what has to be set in the sound configuration.
I don't have any SACDs myself, but I'd be happy to send you a CD and I'll test it for you.
Yes, in addition to Blu-ray and UHD discs, DVD media can also be played.
Hello, no, it's not region-free. You can download the region free firmware here. https://www.regionfreedom.com/index.php/enhanced-firmware/panasonic-blu-ray-players/67-dp-ub420-dp-ub424-dp-ub820-dp-ub824-dp-ub9000-dp-ub9004/182-dp-ub420-ub424-ub820-ub824-ub9000-ub9004-enhanced-firmware-for-selected-models-eb-ef-eg-gn-p-pc#advfeatures
Hello This player has an optical Toslink output, now the question is whether your soundbar has a Toslink input. Toslink cable: LINK2GO TosLink Audio Fibre Optic Cable (2m, Entry, Optical) Another option would be to connect the player with HDMI to an audio extractor and the extractor with 3.5mm jack to your soundbar. Audio Extractor: Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor Or you can go with optical Toslink into this more expensive extractor and with 3.5mm jack into the soundbar. More expensive audio extractor: Lindy HDMI Audio Signal Extractor (Stereo, Extractor, Black) Kind regards
We also do not state that the unit has a recording function. In the specifications it is declared as a "player". "Blu-ray player + recorder" is merely the product category for all Blu-ray players, with and without recording function.
