Your question has remained unanswered for some time. In the meantime, have you found a suitable answer or have you even bought the product and tried it? If not, I recommend asking the manufacturer directly.
Which supplier is your card from? In Switzerland, there are only satellite suppliers with CI cards. Sunrise, Swisscom and the like no longer offer the option of receiving additional channels with a CI card, as they are no longer decoded.
Yes, you can record a TV channel with this device and watch another channel on the TV set at the same time. The twin tuner allows you to record two programmes at the same time while watching another programme on the TV.
The UBC70 has an integrated digital tuner. A normal cable connection is used for this, as with any TV. Hama 11905 Coaxial (85 dB, antenna cable)
For the picture transmission to the TV/monitor, an HDMI cable is required.

The pragmatic answer is no. Because this would circumvent the copy protection of the DVD.
You can record TV programmes, camera content and self-created DVD/BD media, but not original DVDs.
If you can, then only in encrypted form, i.e. data rubbish that only the player can decrypt.
Where did you read that DVD content is saved during playback ?
If you want to keep DVDs safe, try this:

Unfortunately, I can't answer that. I ordered the wrong model at the time (UBS), i.e. satellite reception instead of (UBC) cable. And then exchanged it again straight away. It works with the cable model. Unfortunately, I have no idea about the SAT model.
I could not find anything about the scope of delivery of the product.
But I assume that you don't need any adapters. The satellite cables should actually be standardised.
Otherwise you can always order more.
I myself have the Panasonic HDD/BD recorder DMR-BCT735. You can watch TV and record at the same time. But of course you can't switch over when the recording is running.
It should be the same with this newer model. So: yes, it works.
