I am looking for a new AV receiver for my Bose Acoustimass 5.1 home cinema sound system. The following devices need to be connected: UPC Horizon Box, Samsung DVD player, Nintendo Wii. The device should enable network and streaming services (possibly via Wifi), but also include a radio tuner. The TV (Samsung UE55JU6870) should only be connected via an HDMI cable. Can you recommend this device for this, or do you have another recommendation?

No, the TX-NR474 is a pure 5.1 system. The ceiling speakers as with 5.1.2 are not operated (no output available). Either buy a 7.1 system from Onkyo that can also handle 5.1.2, or use 5.1 speakers - - Dolby Atmos is then simulated with the signal processors. Real Dolby Atmos uses ceiling speakers. I didn't opt for this because there are very few films that currently support this system. Besides, cable installation up to the ceiling is not yet an issue for me. N.B. Klipsch has excellent speakers. I have been using KEF speakers including subwoofers for years.
