Hello, Unfortunately, we don't have the answer for this case specifically related to Sunrise equipment. We advise you to contact the operator, who will probably be able to help you based on their experience with their customers and the Connect Box.

Unfortunately, these cannot be ordered individually as they are not (any longer) available. At the moment, we do not have any suitable additional satellites on offer because your system does not support WiFi 6.

Yes, that is possible. You can operate the device in access point mode and then connect other devices to increase the coverage.

The Premium Smart Parental Control package is included as a 30-day trial version, the full subscription, which can then also really protect, costs around 70 dollars every year. In my opinion, this is extremely expensive for a function that is included completely free of charge in the TP-Link Deco M5, P9 or X20, for example, and does not include any subscription costs. A detailed overview of what is included in Netgear Smart Parental Control can be found on this page: https://www.netgear.com/home/services/smart-parental-controls/ For comparison, a TP-Link M5 with three WiFi routers costs around 210 Swiss francs and offers Parental Control free of charge. TP-Link Deco M5 Dualband WLAN Mesh 3er Set (AC1300) https://www.tp-link.com/us/homecare/ TP-Link HomeCare also offers antivirus protection and antimalware protection for all devices in the WLAN.

Hello Ccalabrese, about your questions. Can I use the Swisscom Internet Box2 for the TV Box and the Orbi system at the same time? Yes, you can do that. How do I connect the Orbi Set to the Swisscom router? You connect the Orbi router to the Swisscom router via a network cable and the Orbi satellite then extends the Wifi wirelessly. BUT Unfortunately, in the past I had more and more problems with interruptions with the Swisscom Box+ and the Orbis on Swisscom TV, so I switched to the WLAN boxes from Swisscom at the end of last year and have had no more interruptions since then. Unfortunately, Swisscom doesn't make it easy to use secondpart products, but I don't want to assume that they did it on purpose.

The idea is that all Orbi Home devices are compatible. The best coverage is achieved with RBR50 and the RBS50 satellites. Any other satellite can synchronise with the existing system and extend the coverage. It is possible to install up to 3 satellites in one system.

I also looked for the 2.4 Ghz option recently and couldn't find it anywhere. I had the same problem with a device that I couldn't connect, but it worked at some point anyway. I think you will have problems with a repeater that connects properly. I had already used repeaters from Netgear and was never satisfied with them. The repeater would then simply forward the components to the Orbi. Wouldn't it also work to connect an access point to the LAN port of the router or satellite? That way, your 200 devices would not all have to access the Orbi via WLAN and repeater, but via LAN between AP and Orbi.

As far as I know, Orbi only supports VLAN bridging on the WAN side. Why should the router for fibre 7 have to be able to do that? The following question also arises for me. If you order fibre 7, do you have a fibre connection and an OTO box or? As far as I know, the Orbi router does not have such a fibre connection. If you wanted to use the Orbi pair for that. I also have fibre 7 and bought the router recommended by Init7. Since I had to hang it in the closet, I also bought this Orbi starter set. I use the Orbi router as an AccessPoint, which works wonderfully. For this, my Orbi router is connected to a Lan socket, which is connected in the wall cupboard from the OTO socket via the router.

Hi Adrian, I'm not sure how you connected your devices to the Wi-Fi. In my experience, you have to let the devices dial in to the 2.4GHz and then it works. At least that's how it worked with my TV. I hope I was able to help you. LG

Orbi RBK50 works independently of power circuits, communicates - if I have understood it correctly - via a third frequency. I have similar conditions, but needed a 2nd satellite (master on the ground floor, one satellite on each floor) to get satisfactory results. We still have copper wires. Performance at the router: approx. 20 Mbps, WLAN performance in the house: approx. 10 Mbps.

You have to set the router to bridge mode. This should actually work with modern routers, the Orbi system is then more or less the continuation of the router. The nice thing about this is that the coverage also works in complicated buildings and Powerline etc. can usually be dispensed with. The entrance router should be in a reasonably central location (in my case it's on the lowest floor and the WLAN network is good enough even on the third floor).

I have no experience with the Sunrise TV Box, but everything works fine with the rest. That is, I have connected the TV to a repeater and the streaming works perfectly. The only downer is the connection failure. I can't say whether this problem comes from the router or the Orbi. There are times when I have no internet connection and have to cold-start the router. As soon as this is done, everything works perfectly.

The set consists of a router and a satellite. The router must be connected to the modem via LAN. The satellite does not have to be connected via LAN. It connects automatically to the router (via WLAN).
