Netgear Orbi Armor RBK53S Mesh Wi-Fi set
Hello Had the exact same problem and the difference would actually be that it has a USB plug but that is wrong on the homepage. So it was a mistake for me. Otherwise they are the same devices!
With the Armor version, you buy an additional piece of security for your home network. You can check and secure every single device and also blocked threats are shown to you and critical websites are automatically blocked.
The connection of the satellites also works via Ethernet cable. You can find an article about this under the following link: https://kb.netgear.com/000051205/What-is-Ethernet-backhaul-and-how-do-I-set-it-up-on-my-Orbi-WiFi-System#.
I don't think it's possible, I don't see any mention of the possibility of connecting the base station to Wi-Fi. Normally it is made to be placed close to the router in cable and then transmit the signal to the antennas
I connected the router from the ORBI system directly after the UPC router (via Ethernet). The ORBI router then takes over the communication to its satellites. The ORBI router itself has no router function for UPC, so you don't need the bridge mode in the UPC router. The ORBI system has a very high transmission rate, especially in the 5GHz band. It is currently one of the best on the market and you only register once and are then automatically forwarded from one station to the next.
