According to NETGEAR, GS105E is a discontinued model (no longer built). A GS105 series switch does what you want it to do. It is simply an Ethernet outlet multiplier. You can connect up to 4 devices and they have Ethernet independently.
Hey Cynthíon
Unfortunately, I have not read anything about PoE for this device, neither from the manufacturer nor from another online shop. Therefore, I assume that this device does not support PoE.
Of course Netgear wants you to have an original part. Here are the data from the original. In: 220V, 0.2 A, Out: 12V, 1 A. + on pin in the centre.
Good luck finding an alternative.
Hello Velogemp, the switch can only be configured via the web after the firmware upgrade. Initial configuration must be done via Netgear Utility. For this, the switch needs an IP address that it obtains via DHCP. Does the router give the switch an IP address? If not, it cannot be found.

It's an "unmanaged PLUS" switch (can also be seen in the specs): So it has basic management funktionalities:
http://www.netgear.co.uk/business/products/switches/unmanaged-plus/gigabit-plus-switch.aspx
"On top of the plug-N-play Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, these switches also offer essential networking features such as VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping, Link Aggregation (LAG), rate limiting and traffic monitoring. "
