I used this device during my 3 month trip to Norway. I had no problems, but the most important thing was the external antenna. The most important thing was the external antenna that was included in a set offer. The display of the device also showed the amount of data downloaded, battery level, connected users and quality of the connection at all times. My mobile phone iPhone 5s was not usable as a hotspot. Netgear Aircard 785 had 99% reception because of the external antenna that I attached to the window in the camper van with suction cups. 4G also worked when available.

Hello, I can't answer that 100%. But I think it should be possible for almost all mobile hotspots. It should also be possible to define different profiles. The part works perfectly.
I have never noticed that before. What I have noticed, however, is that the download speed is always different, even with a 4G display (2g/3G is usually much slower anyway).

No, it can only be charged via USB as far as I can see.
Unfortunately, I can't answer that. I have only used it in Switzerland and Germany and it works excellently and economically. So the battery lasts for a long time.
