Hi, there,
The SSD attaches directly to the lid, there's no bay, so there's no height limit. If you don't fit the NVME, then you should be able to fit a 15mm. But once the case is closed, the drive will be right on top of the NVME, so if you have an NVME with a cooler, and also a 15mm SSD, it could get stuck!
How high do you need to be to get 15mm? Samsung SSDs are 6.6mm!
Amicale salutations
The connection cable for the SSD is not normally included in the scope of delivery. You should purchase a suitable M.2 connection cable separately if it is not already integrated in the housing. The exact delivery details may vary depending on the retailer.
Yes, the RAM of the MSI Cubi N ADL-007DE can be expanded.
- The RAM is currently equipped with 4 GB DDR4 SDRAM and can be expanded to a maximum of 16 GB.
- You would need to install SO-DIMM modules with a speed of 3200 MHz, as these are compatible.
You can use the existing SO-DIMM slots to install additional or larger memory modules. This can significantly improve the performance and stability of the system.
Yes, you can connect a monitor via the USB-C port of the MSI Cubi N ADL-007DE, but it is important to note that the USB-C port in this model supports the DisplayPort Alternate (DP Alt) function. This means that the USB-C port can be used for transmitting video signals, but the monitor must support this function.
Please ensure that the Samsung M8 monitor you intend to use supports transmission of video signals via USB-C with the DisplayPort Alternate function.
I myself need this mini computer for the TV and Netflix. The performance is perfectly adequate.
Bleutooth and W-Lan are even onboard. It absolutely fulfils your expectations. I can absolutely recommend it.
Thank you very much for letting us know. We will be happy to pass this on internally to the relevant department and hope that this will be checked promptly.
There is an unwritten rule: If a PC does not have a seal, you can replace components (e.g. RAM, SSD), but you have to restore the PC to its original condition in order to benefit from the warranty.
Upgrading this device is very easy, I did it as soon as I received it.
Hi, you can replace existing 128GB SSD with this one: Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (1000 GB, M.2 2280) Although please note that if you want to transfer existing Windows 11 Pro from 128 GB SSD to 1TB SSD you will have to do some cloning (Kingston Fury SSD has Acronis True Image software activation key included, which should help a bit with cloning procedure). Unfortunately I can't 100% confirm which RAM will work, because I ordered DDR5 by mistake, and it does not fit (I checked processor specification, which said it supports DDR5, but I should have checked MSI Cubi specs instead). Now I have ordered Kingston FURY Impact (1 x 16GB, 3200 MHz, DDR4-RAM, SO-DIMM) but it didn't arrive yet so I cannot confirm if it works fine. Even with 4GB of RAM everything works perfect.
No, it's an HDMI out port, it's for connecting a screen and it's not a video input for recording. On the other hand, I don't know where you saw 1TB of SSD? The MSI Cubi comes with a 128GB SSD, so if you want more you'll have to replace the original SSD (at your own expense, of course). Or plug in a 2nd SATA SSD using the cable provided.
