ATTENTION! I wanted to upgrade my Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro with this product. Now the product key on the CD packaging is not accepted (error message: product key is invalid). After 2 weeks of enquiries to Galaxus, I still have no answer. They refer me to Microsoft. Microsoft gave me a case ID number, which has now landed me back at Galaxus. Conclusion; after 2 weeks since the purchase and 4 phone calls with Galaxus customer service and a long chat with Microsoft, I still have no Win 11 Pro on the notebook and no solution to the problem! As I had already opened the packaging, I cannot return this product. As it is software, I can no longer register it as a "Defective Product" for exchange. I have now paid Fr 135 and received nothing in return. Just an FYI before you guys order this.

We regret the complications. These should certainly not occur. We sell this item several times a day and never actually have this problem. Unfortunately, we have no direct insight into the order in question. We therefore hope that our customer service, together with the manufacturer, can offer a solution as quickly as possible.

I may have missed something, but I'm wondering what the difference is between this version of MS Windows 11 Pro (DE) for CHF 139 and the MS Windows 11 Pro (DE) with the article number 25130693 for CHF 207. I ultimately want to install Windows 11 Pro on virtualisation software (Parallels 26) and am naturally leaning towards the CHF 139 version because of the price.

Hi, I'm reluctant to buy a Windows 11 key here, but I've seen that there are also official licences sold online and delivered by e-mail. Has anyone had any experience with this type of digital licence? For example, I found licence24.ch, which offers instant Windows 11 keys. Is this really the same in terms of activation and updates?

Well, if you are unlucky, your key is available x times and it is an illegal licence. they also like to sell an OEM version, i.e. this is not transferable to another PC. got weak and bought a Windows 11 Pro key for 20 euros. it went well at first, 2 Windows updates later Microsoft blocked my Windows on the grounds that it was an illegal version. then I could no longer activate it. no answer came from Key Support.

Is this a retail version (as opposed to an OEM version [I have an OEM version, but since the last update Windows says Windows is not activated]) including licence key and sticker?

Dear Galaxus/Digitec Team You should mark it clearly in the product title and description that this is an OEM license, not a full standalone license. So it lives and dies on the machine its installed and activated on. It is not transferable. I returned this product and bought the full license from Microsoft Store for CHF 279.95 but I can transfer it to another machine. Thank you! Claude

This version is bound to the hardware - right? On the one hand it clearly says OEM, on the other hand it was claimed here that it is a transferable licence (retail). According to my research, however, this is incorrect. As far as I have found out, it is an OEM (hardware-bound) DSP (without support) SB (self-builder) licence. So you can transfer it exactly once to a new mainboard via a Windows account and that's it. You can install this version on a PC. An upgrade to Win 11 is also free of charge afterwards. If you use a new mainboard in 1 to 2 years, you can install and activate this Windows again. It could (but must not) run on 2 PCs. There are only problems with activation if you want to activate it for a short time in succession. But always use the Pro version.

You can only have one Win11 active on your PC. If you now enter the key for Win11 Pro, your Win11 Home will be gone and you will have Win11 Pro on it. Which is generally the better choice;-)
