Hello Merlin77, When you buy "Windows 11 Home", you will usually receive a product key that is printed out as a 25-digit code. This key is required to activate the operating system. Alternatively, there may also be a digital licence, especially if you have purchased the operating system via the Microsoft Store or as an upgrade from an older version. In this case, the licence is automatically linked to your Microsoft account and does not require a separate key for activation. If you need the licence key, you will usually find it in the confirmation email or on a label in the packaging material.

To activate Windows 11 Home and receive the digital key, follow these steps, as the digital key is not downloaded directly to a stick, but rather by purchasing it and linking it to your Microsoft account: ## Purchase and download - Purchase Windows 11 Home from the Microsoft Store app or from an authorised reseller. You will receive a confirmation email containing the digital key or the instructions to retrieve the key. ## Activation with digital licence - If you purchased Windows 11 Home, the digital key will be automatically linked to your Microsoft account. Make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that is linked to the digital licence. ## Installation and activation - Download the installation tool from the official Microsoft website and create a bootable USB drive. - Complete the installation and select the "I don't have a product key" option when prompted to enter one. Windows 11 will be activated automatically after installation if you are logged in with the correct Microsoft account. You cannot download the digital key directly to a stick, but must obtain it by purchasing it and linking it to your Microsoft account.

That should work in principle. Here is also a link where someone has managed it: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/im-trying-to-set-secure-boot-on-asus-prime-b450m-a/25678384-e552-4329-921f-92203286d9bc

The Windows installation medium is probably missing a driver for the hard drive. This problem usually occurs with Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST). You can either download the driver from the manufacturer's website, load it onto a second USB stick and then install it during installation (should work in the same window as the drive selection) or you can try deactivating IRST in the UEFI (called "Intel VMD" on Asus laptops).
