Wouldn't that be on sale for 899 until 16 September ?!?

Can the Marantz also forward the sound, e.g. 7.1, via HDMI? I want to connect a pair of 9.1 headphones (Sony) and there is no sound. Only when I switch the Marantz to standby (with passthrough) do I get a 7.1 signal at the HDMI output of the Marantz or the input of the Sony headphones.

Hello, most sound formats do not work with headphones see manual page 142-3.
