Does this alarm clock also have a backlight? Can you see the time in the dark? Does it have a normal alarm tone?

If you put your hand on the top, the backlight comes on - otherwise it is dark. The alarm sound is normal - I find it pleasant.

no, it can't be set. The ringing is progressive. It starts off normal, then gets louder and louder and the ringing gets faster and faster. I'm a heavy sleeper and it's always woken me up...
