I set up this device for an acquaintance. If I remember correctly, there was still a SATA slot available (for data transfer from his old HD), but I had to supply the power from a separate power supply unit. This is therefore not possible without some additional effort.
Seems to be the wrong product image. The information in the specifications is always binding and not the product image, which is often used for several configurations. Attached is a picture with the USB ports on the back: https://www.lenovo.com/medias/V-530s-.jpg?context=bWFzdGVyfC9lbWVhL2ltYWdlcy98Mzk3MTU3fGltYWdlL2pwZWd8L2VtZWEvaW1hZ2VzL2hmNi9oNjMvMTA1NDYyNDMwNzYxMjYuanBnfGUxNmVjY2ZlNzdiYmVhZDYyMTNjNDAxOTBiOWRiMTA1MjRhMjk5MmUxNzgzYzUyNjY1YTk2ZDQyYmIyNTBmZWY
These are the connections on the back, which are marked SS. Attached is a picture: https://www.lap4worx.de/media/image/91/a6/71/Lenovo-V530S-SFF-02.png
Laut Datenblatt gibt es einen (1x) PCIe x16 und einen (1x) PCIe x1 Slot. -> https://static.lenovo.com/shop/emea/content/pdf/ThinkCentre/Essential%20DT/2018/V530s/Lenovo_V530s_DS_DE.pdf
1 Yes, that is possible in principle.
2. why do you choose RGB RAM for a system where the enclosure is completely closed?
3. why choose RAM that is overclocked? It seems like a waste of money in combination with the other components of this PC.
I bought this 16 Gbyte memory from digitec and now have a total of approx. 24 GByte.
Samsung M378A2K43CB1-CTD (1x, 16GB, DDR4-2666, DIMM 288)
I also bought an SSD hard disk and copied the operating system from the slow 1 TB disk to it with Paragon Harddisk Manager. The SSD Samsung 970 EVO Plus (500GB, M.2 2280) is only 500 GByte, but it's enough for me. but it's enough for me. I make a backup of the SSD to an external USB hard drive from time to time. The 1 TByte hard drive can either be removed or used as a "data corpse".
