Unfortunately, I am not aware of a newer version or how it works. All the ones I found when searching the internet work with micro USB. Otherwise, you are welcome to contact our customer service and we will be able to answer any questions you may have.
Das macht sie glaube ich schon Standard mässig ( siehe Anleitung) :
"Make sure firewall doesn't block NTP (Network Time Protocol) *.pool.ntp.org services.
During its work LaMetric can adjust it's time to be accurate. But due to a firewall (some routers have firewall settings), it can not do so. This may cause time on the LaMetric to drift and as a result, mobile client will not be able to communicate with LaMetric."
I have gladly forwarded your product request to our purchasing department. If we are able to add the product to our range, you will be able to find it via the search field in about 2 weeks.
The setup worked for me the week before last without any problems. Try resetting the LaMetric according to these instructions and update the app on your mobile phone again: https://help.lametric.com/support/solutions/articles/6000012612-how-to-register-lametric-under-another-account-or-wipe-all-settings-
It's a really cool gadget, but the price is astronomically high. In my opinion, as an alarm clock it has rather mediocre functionality, but as a "smart ticker" it is absolutely ingenious and can be networked with a wide range of online services!
Despite searching in various places, I have unfortunately not found a similar/comparable product.
Question: Does anyone know of a similar device that is suitable as a "Smart Ticker" for displaying information that the device fetches from the Internet (or that can be made available/managed remotely)? If possible with a slightly larger display, or on whose display more information can be shown?
If not, maybe an app that does the same on a mobile phone/tablet? I haven't found anything yet that can be managed remotely. But I would definitely prefer a hardware solution like the Smart Atoms from LaMetric. Any tips?
Unfortunately, I can't say exactly, but I wouldn't put too much emphasis on it. In my experience, the language setting is mainly limited to the mobile app with which you can configure the "clock".
As already mentioned elsewhere, you can set up the units km/miles, Celsius/Fahrenheit, date format, etc. with it. However, the display on the clock itself is often supported with symbols. And the day of the week, for example, is still displayed in English for me - despite the general German setup: "26/12 Wed"
