Questions about Joseph Joseph Totem Recycling Station

The item is very sturdy so it won't fall apart. However, it's also shiny an - in my opinion - likely to (a) attract light and heat, and (b) deteriorate, if not well protected from the elements. Anyway, super elegant and functional, very happy with my purchase.
