My 15-year-old flat screen TV can no longer handle the many HDTV channels. I am looking for a device that can be connected between the TV socket and the HDMI input on the TV and thus take over the TV tuner for my TV set, which can now only be used as a monitor. Is this product what I am looking for?

Hello, it depends on the input source. The product you specified is for satellite signals. This one for cable connection: TechniSat Technistar K4 ISIO (DVB-C, CI+ slot)

Ladies and Gentlemen Our TV reception is via satellite. My second TV set does not have a receiver, What equipment do you recommend so that I can receive Swiss TV programmes?
