Yes, this is a gigabit adapter.

Hello, the adapter simply brings the speed that comes via the line or via your network card in the MacBook. So you would have to change the network card in the Mac so that you can drive gigabit.

This is not a WLAN adapter and it is an HP product. So there's absolutely no guarantee that it will work. Does the TV have a USB C port?

The adapter is basically compatible with any PC/laptop that offers a USB-C connection.
According to our information it should work with Linux.
In principle, the connection should work. However, I don't think the phone has network access.
