Yes, as I understand it, this will certainly work. The amplifier needs a suitable subwoofer output (1x cinch for me) and you can feed the speakers via the amplifier (provided it has enough power). On many amplifiers you can switch internally which function you want to use, 2.1, 5.1, 7.1, 7.2, etc.. I used the subwoofer in combination with two MB Quart speakers and the Denon avr x2200w receiver and it works great. I hope I was able to help.

The subwoofer is connected to your amp in the PreOut: Subwoofer connection (Colour: purple). Connect the socket to the line level input of an amplified subwoofer.

This is probably because the other two products are no longer available and therefore the price has not been adjusted.
