In the event of a return, a discount of 10% and the shipping costs will be charged. This also applies to returns that have already been checked, as these must be checked again. The shipping costs do not apply if the product is returned directly to a store.
The reason for these prices are the different suppliers with different conditions. Therefore, the situation at the moment is actually such that the 2-pack is cheaper than 3 pieces.
Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always try to design a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
I bought the set of 3 for WLAN distribution in an apartment block. The "server" is located in the basement and includes a switch for Internet distribution throughout the house. Internet comes via the Sunrise router, which is connected to the server. When the first Wifi point (Accsess) was installed, it still looked like it would be a simple matter (very good connection, according to the speed test). During the subsequent installation of the second Wifi Point, there were already problems with a weak connection etc., even though this point was connected to the Internet cable from the switch. With the third Wifi Point, no connection was possible at all. Despite various attempts, the product could not be put into operation, which almost made me despair. I've now given up and am considering returning the product, which would be a shame, as the aim is still to have WiFi coverage throughout the house.
Does anyone have any ideas about what else could be done here?
The set of 3 consists of three mesh routers, each with two Ethernet ports, which can all act as routers or access points. You do not need an additional router, as one device is connected to your Sunrise modem as the main router and the other two extend the signal as mesh points.
Specifically for your situation:
- Current setup: Your Sunrise modem remains on the ground floor as the Internet source.
- Solution: A Nest Wifi Pro router is connected to the modem via Ethernet cable, the other two devices are placed on the ground floor and first floor as mesh points.
- Coverage: The set of 3 devices covers up to 6600 square feet (~613 m²), which is typically sufficient for multi-storey houses.
Important:
- Incompatibility: Nest Wifi Pro is not backwards compatible with older Google/Nest routers.
- Ports: Each router has two Gigabit Ethernet ports (useful for wired devices).
- Speed: Wi-Fi 6E with up to 5.4 Gbps (combined across all bands), ideal for multiple floors.
If your home is particularly large or has thick walls, additional routers may be required - the coverage per router is ~200 m².
