These are European devices, they have no local settings. Therefore, no local applications are installed.
Chromecast 3 is only with a Full HD resolution. This one has 4k. So this one is more like a Chromecast Ultra just with additional TV software (it's also just an Android where you can download apps and not just streaming receivers). If you want 4k resolution you should take this one instead of the Ultra. The Chromecast with TV is a newer generation.
There are USB cables directly from type A to type C, like this one for example: Purelink USB A - USB C (0.50 m)
Because of the power supply from your TV, this should fit, depending on what your TV offers, if not, just use a power adapter (like the one from your mobile phone).
Unfortunately, I can't quite understand that either. Many products now have Chromecast integrated. But I thought the portability was extremely good. What a pity. :/

Hello, yes it works perfectly. I had just bought one to install the Sunrise app and be able to watch TV via the Google Chromecast. No problem at all!

The Chromecast with Google TV 4K is connected via an HDMI port and not via USB-C. There is therefore no need to use a USB-C adapter to HDMI. The Chromecast comes with an HDMI plug that you can plug directly into a free HDMI port on your TV.

I didn't manage to use the SRF Sport app. Play SRF works, you can also watch the live streams there.

Hello, I think the 4K version is more responsive than the HD version.
Apple TV+ works FINE on Chromecast - NO APPLE TV required.
but.... Chromecasts are buggy as hell - had one for 2 months - SOUND would not work 3/4 of time

Yes, the NBA app can be installed. I use the app myself, but it has very poor ratings (1.6 out of 5) because it apparently crashes after every advert.

Hello chumir. I have just looked on my Chromecast. I could install the Yallo TV app on the Chromecast. It is displayed in the Play Store on the Chromecast.

As already reported by some users. Factory reset.
1. while the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and switched on, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED should start flashing amber.
2. when the LED light is solid white, release the button and the Chromecast should then reset.
During setup, enter your Google login details and select everything you need.
Alternatively, you can also "project" YouTube etc. directly onto the screen via Chromecast using your mobile.
There is no Ethernet adapter included. I don't think Digitec have it in stock but I've read that any usb-c hub with Ethernet input should work.

Yes, the "Google Chromecast with Google TV" is the 4th generation (2020) of Google Chromecast and therefore the latest version. You can find release notes and specifications on Wikipedia. PS: I'm very happy with the device. Runs smoother than FireTV!
