We did not find an optical output for this model. The manufacturer's website states that the Z 11 Pro Max is equipped with the following connections:

There is no physical limit for external hard drives. There are restrictions on the partition and format file system. Create (1x) a full partition and format it to NTFS. You can only record live TV, not VODs.
The receiver is suitable for beamers. The format should also be suitably adjustable.
