What about cable management?

Has a gap for it at the back. First thread it through and then mount it. No problems. No special channels or holders for cables. I can also post a photo on request.

It is best to use the extremely strong Velcro strip that is suitable for fire extinguishers. You can get it from Tesa in any DIY store. This would easily hold the Play:1. When sticking the strip, it is important that the surface is absolutely free of grease.

Why is the price so high?

Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always endeavour to offer a price in line with the market. However, this is not possible for all products.

I don't quite understand the question or which screw you mean exactly, but you can separate the wall bracket and the speaker bracket (sliding) - so you can first screw the wall bracket cleanly to the wall (sufficient distance from the ceiling) and the Sonos speaker into the speaker bracket, then you can slide the speaker into the wall bracket from above and only have to adjust the angle of the speaker - if necessary ...

Helpful answer

I would say no. If the bracket is screwed to the ceiling - which is of course possible - the loudspeaker is "lying", i.e. the mounting surface and the loudspeaker are parallel. The bracket can be tilted a little, but not 90°. On the other hand, the Sonos speakers are designed not to be optimally placed - so you can do that. But the question is: why not just mount it on the wall instead of the ceiling? If it has to be somewhere in the middle of a ceiling: that looks very strange, there are better alternatives.

I previously had a CAVUS bracket (http://www.cavusmounts.com/products/surround-sound-wall-mount-suitable-for-sonos-play-1-in-white.html) for the play 1. I had to use the drill. Maybe you can find the hole spacing in the CAVUS manual.
