Is the backpack really waterproof or just water repellent?

I have tested the backpack in the rain and so far it is waterproof.

Does the backpack in the mustard colour not have leather details? It doesn't look like it in the picture but the other colours all have leather details! Thank you for feedback

The carrying straps are fastened with press studs. Where are they attached when the carrying loops are extended or the press studs are removed? Do they hang in the air then?

When you open the press studs, you then widen the carrying loops, i.e. the ends are no longer long but short and hang freely in the air. In my case, they are extended to almost their full length. Nothing hangs any more because the end is just before the buckle.
