The air conditioner has a self-evaporating system in which the condensation water produced during cooling operation evaporates in the appliance and is discharged to the outside with the warm exhaust air. A container for manual emptying is therefore generally not necessary.
However, if the humidity is high and water collects in the base of the appliance, a drain hose can be connected to remove the condensation directly. For continuous or unattended operation, it is recommended that this hose is fitted at an angle of at least 20 degrees downwards to prevent backflow.
The hose diameter is 15 cm and cannot be adjusted to 10.8 cm. The existing hole with a diameter of 10.8 cm is too small for the exhaust air hose of this air conditioning system. A larger hole or a suitable adaptation is required to connect the 15 cm hose correctly.
