Hi Tschibo1 According to the manufacturer's website and operating instructions, this adapter does not have POE. There were Pro devices from Devolo that were equipped with POE, but it seems that they are no longer sold. Alternatively, you could use a POE injector like this one Ubiquiti PoE Injector to make POE possible. Greetings John

The Pro versions also offer business-oriented functions such as multiple VLANs, multiple SSIDs, WPA2 Enterprise and RADIUS authentication of the clients. To what extent these features can be used in conjunction with the "normal" dLAN 1200+ devices, which according to various information here at Digitec are compatible with the Pro versions, remains to be seen. With the 38%, the Pro is of course an attractive offer in comparison.

The unit is always used in a pair. This is a single adapter and is intended for expansion. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what you want to know or what your installation should look like, but I can tell you the following. To set up a powerline connection, you need a router, an Ethernet cable and at least two powerline adapters: one for the router and one for each device you want to connect to. The first adapter must be plugged into the wall socket and connected to the router by cable. The second adapter can be plugged into any room (it must be the same circuit) and from there connected to an end device by cable. Once the second adapter is connected to a power outlet, the two adapters use the power lines between the rooms to send network signals to each other. In this way, an Internet connection is established outside the normal range of the router.
