1a. Can the receiver be started from standby via Alexa? - Yes, that works. 1b. If so, how long does it take until the sound comes? - I usually wait 2-3 seconds after the first command. Then the command always works. 2a. Can the receiver be started from standby via the Spotify App, or is the receiver also available in standby as a device in the Spotify App? - Both yes. 2b. If yes, how long does it take until the sound comes? - Identical to when the Denon is started via Alexa. 2-3 seconds, then the music plays.
Audyssey LFC, 2 subwoofer outputs, analogue to HDMI scaling, HDMI to HDMI scaling up to 4k 60Hz (instead of just 4k 24), DSD audio, 180W per channel (instead of 150W). I would go for the X2500H now unless you need scaling and 2 subwoofers.
