To round on the Casio FX-991DE X, follow these steps:
## Setting the rounding
- Press the `[SHIFT]` button and then the `[MODE]` button to enter the setup menu.
- Select the option `6` (FIX).
- Enter the number of decimal places you want to round to (e.g. `2` for two decimal places).
## Example
- Press `[SHIFT] + [MODE]`, then `6` (FIX), and finally `2` for rounding to two decimal places.
## Deactivating the rounding function
- To deactivate the rounding function and return to the standard display, press `[SHIFT] + [MODE]`, then `8` (Norm) and finally `1`.
These settings ensure that all calculations are rounded to the desired number of decimal places.
It is mentioned in the specifications that this product is in German. Please contact customer service : https://helpcenter.galaxus.ch/hc/en-us/requests/new
This is the EN model : Casio FX-991EX (Piles, Cellules solaires)
I was in the very same situation; ordered the (what I thought based on the title) the EN version but got the DE version. I contacted Galaxus support and it was sorted out. Please contact support. There's no way to switch language to English on the DE version.
(BTW, the title seems to be corrected now)
Hey, in my opinion they are a little spongy, but the click is also very pleasant and I have rarely had problems with clicks not registering (which happens to me a lot with the TI-30X). Hope this was helpful.
The whole menu is in English instead of German. If you are being taught in German, it may be difficult to understand at the beginning which menu item you have to select. Unless you know words like 'vector calculus' or 'cumulative normal distribution' or 'binomial density' in English. But I think that is the only difference.
