The device is the same, labelled E550W, with power supply unit, battery and case. The only difference is how many tapes are included. I can't remember how many I had with me. So that I'm not left without a functioning device on the construction site, I have a replacement device, D600, which can use the same tapes. I couldn't find any difference in quality between the original and noname tapes, which is why I now only use the much cheaper noname tapes. I am particularly happy with the E550W because of its WLAN connection. What both devices have that bothers me is the approx. 2.3 cm feed before each printout. This is due to technical reasons and cannot be switched off, says Brother.
