Bose Solo 5

Hello, I can't answer you about this specific model. I can however say that a sound bar, whatever its make or model, is compatible with any device having classic sound/video inputs such as HDMI.
as far as i know there is a "bose tv speaker remote control" at digitec/galaxus this should also work. link: Bose TV Speaker (Device Specific)
I don't know. I control the volume with the supplied remote control. Does not work with the TV remote control
I don't know the Sunrise tv box, but with the Swisscom tv box there were various options. For example, you can connect the 3.5 mm jack plug directly to the tv box and deactivate the sound from your tv. Disadvantage: the sound only works when it is running via the tv box. there is also a second variant with the optical cable if your tv or tv box from sunrise has an optical input. but if you only want to use the bose remote control, there is a youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIaD5PALZkA
Unfortunately, no, the thing only has audio inputs, no outputs and is also not Soundtouch compatible.
Depends on the projector or other equipment you use to play media.
Si è Bluetooth.
Yes, it must be permanently connected to the mains.
No, unfortunately that is not possible. Via Bluetooth with a tablet or smartphone, of course, it is. (I also use it via TuneIn and via tablet).
@Saregame: I never used used bose solo 5 with bose acoustimass. I used it with LG OLED and it works perfect.
Yes, that works. I have it myself sm tv and never have to switch it on separately. But you can also change the device (e.g. so that it plays music from the mobile phone). By default, however, the boxes always turn on with ddm TV and I haven't set anything special, just connected them ;)
Yes, this is possible. Of course, the best way is via optical audio output (TOSLINK) or stereo via 3.5mm audio output, if your sound card/mainboard supports this.
Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved via the connection - but you can programme the Bose remote control so that you can control Swisscom TV with it or vice versa (if this is still possible with Swisscom TV). If it has to go via the connection or HDMI CEC, you need a soundbar that has HDMI.
You can connect the Samsung UE40MU6170 to the Bose Solo 5 via Toslink.
Should work in theory, there is a stereo cinch connection.
Should work! I have the setop box from swisscom on it, and can regulate the volume with the swisscom remote control.
Bose WB-120 (Wandmontage)
For me, I use the Swisscom TV Box remote control, which works. But I have connected it differently. With optical cable.
you can't - the Solo 5 is not "SoundTouch compatible".
I can't say exactly, I have a Sunrise TV box connected to the TV via hdmi. My TV has a toslink output that I connected to the bose. This works because the sound is transmitted to the TV via HDMI.
According to the BOSE owner's guide (see homepage), you need the "WB-120 wall mounting kit" which is available from BOSE dealers.
I didn't notice that an optical fibre was supplied with it. Now I use the supplied cable, everything is OK.
Works automatically and without problems for me (iPhone), but I can't say how it is with other devices. In general, I am very satisfied with the soundbar.
