yes - it should be able to do this according to the app. however, I can't even connect to the network although it is 2.4 Ghz. The technology doesn't seem to be fully developed yet. The network is full of reports that have the same problem. So mine is going back, it's unusable.

When it comes to robotic vacuum cleaners, I advise against exotic products. Also because of the spare parts situation. The Blaupunkt brand is a complete unknown in the robot vacuum cleaner business. I would go for Roborock, Roidmi and Xiaomi. They are all top of the line, there are spare parts everywhere. The robots recognise carpet and then vacuum harder on carpet. They don't get stuck.
A very interesting model is this vacuum robot, it can also recognise objects, e.g. cables, power strips and plinths and drives around the objects. The low height also allows it to vacuum under furniture. Navigation is done with the help of various sensors and according to a plan.
