I would like to use the device as a WLAN-to-Ethernet bridge to receive SwisscomTV in a separate room. Can this be done with it?

No, it is not suitable for this. We recommend this device Swisscom WLAN-Box 2 (4800Mbit/s, 600Mbit/s) .

The description says it has 3G and 4G mobile connectivity. Is that really the case? Can I use it with a sim card?
