ASUS WiFi 6 Bundle (Router + Network Adapter)
Thank you for pointing this out. Since a set price does not automatically adjust to the individual prices, it can happen that the set price is higher after a reduction of the individual price than if the individual items are ordered separately. I will gladly pass this on to the responsible department internally and hope that this will be checked promptly.
Hi Such questions are always very difficult to answer or a prediction is almost impossible. There are various factors that play a role here. I think without testing, no one will give you a guarantee. Do you now have another router in use which goes into the basement, but weakly? or not at all?
Yes, the buyer is somewhat fooled if he believes the marketing. But a little differently than you think ;-) You wrote yourself "theoretically with 4800 Mbit/s over the air". Theoretically, what would you expect in practice? That is, when gross becomes net? The LAN port with a net 1000 Mbit/s can transmit 940 Mbit/s in practice. With WLAN, the net is up to 5-10 times smaller than the gross. Under the best conditions! So router and e.g. tablet in the same room. But if walls, floors or other things come into play, it becomes even less. Wifi is also a shared medium. If 5 devices use the wifi at the same time, 5x4800 are not available. With copper cable, each LAN port has its 1000 exclusively for itself. A few links to read up on: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datendurchsatz https://www.cnlab.ch/performance/performance-wiki/heimnetzwerk-wlan https://www.heise.de/select/ct/2019/2/1546773697424925 By the way, there are already higher levels than 1000 Mbit/s for network cables. Namely 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000 Mbps. However, this is still not very widespread in the private sector because the corresponding devices such as routers and switches for these areas are still missing or still expensive.
