I would like to upgrade our Sunrise box on our fibre connection with a Wifi 6 router. Can I connect this router directly to our fibre connection and use it that way or would I need a separate modem in between? Since I would like to keep it as simple as possible, can anyone recommend a Wifi 6 router (for VR gaming with Quest 2) that I can connect directly to a fibre connection?

Hello Would it be worth switching directly to this router instead of the RT-AX92U? It is somehow not clear to me whether it can do everything that the AX92U can do and still be cheaper. Need (possibly AiMesh if there are "dead areas", AiCloud for my data and of course fast WLAN (gaming via cable and Devolo to PC). P30 Pro's should also be able to use Wifi 6. Merci in advance!

Hi, the main differences are that the 82 only has four lan ports instead of 8 and only 1 USB 3 and only one gigabyte wan instead of 2.5 gigabyte. The AiMesh works to the full extent

Yes, that works 👍 I use the same, with a hard drive on the USB port for smb, ftp etc. Can also be used with your own access data, or the data from the router can be used. Everything is very easy to set up.

The walls in my house are too thick. For example, I connected the SALT router normally as it should be and set up this device in the other part of the house and connected it to the Salt router via cable. So I have wifi in both parts of the house.

I have connected the router via WAN input with a Lan cable to my Wingo modem. Everything is fine as far as the Internet and WiFi are concerned. But now when I connect the Wingo TV box to the Asus router, the TV doesn't work, I just have a black picture. When the TV box is connected directly to the Wingo Mondem, it works, so it must be the Asus router. It works when I change the mode to Acesspoint... but I don't want that... With my previous TP Link router everything worked in router mode. So I assume that it is some setting but I don't know which one and how to do it. Can someone help me? :-)
