i can't answer that - i use the stick with teleboy, as the corresponding app for the fire stick is available there.
in general, not all google playstore apps are also available in the amazon app store, and the google play store can only be used if you are familiar with 'side loading' android apps.
so i would ask galaxus directly, because i probably got this question 'automatically' since i bought the stick.
i actually like the google chromecast for google tv better, but the fire stick remote is much more convenient.....

Yes, this stick also makes sense if you don't use or subscribe to any other Amazon products. You can use it to access platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and many more. The smart home functions via Alexa are also useful for controlling compatible devices, even if you don't use any other Amazon services.
The Fire TV Stick does not support native portrait streaming directly from a mobile to the stick, at least there is no specific information that it directly supports such functions for streaming websites. However, it does offer Miracast support for display mirroring with Fire tablets, which enables similar functions, but not directly from any mobile to the stick. To stream websites to the stick, you usually need to use the corresponding apps on the stick.
The Fire TV Stick is generally compatible with any television with an HDMI port, which includes most modern televisions such as the LG 50PG6000. However, for the best experience, make sure the TV has a resolution compatible with the Fire TV Stick's capabilities. For the LG 50PG6000, which is an HD TV, the Fire TV Stick will work, but it won't be able to display 4K content on this TV.
