Thank you for your question. The camera does not necessarily have to be connected to the Internet. The video recordings can be saved on an SD card. The device can therefore be integrated into its own LAN or WLAN network, which is completely isolated from the outside world. In addition, the camera creates an autonomous W-LAN that can be accessed via smartphone or tablet. Note, however, that you can only access the live images and recordings via the "App2Cam Plus" app (smartphone/tablet).
