Quadral Phase 16

In many living rooms or home theaters, a 5.1 set cannot be optimally placed as required for direct radiators in the rear area. To achieve a good spatial feeling under these circumstances, without being able to pinpoint a speaker directly, it is ideal to work with a diffuse sound source, such as the quadral PHASE 16.

Using a toggle switch on the back, the speaker can be configured as a dipole, bipole, or as a standard speaker. For small rooms, the dipole setting is recommended, as the two tweeters operate out of phase, creating a diffuse sound image. In bipole mode, both tweeters are driven in phase, and in the normal setting, the PHASE 16 functions like a direct radiator with just one tweeter.
