With the TR-004U USB 3.2 Gen 1 RAID expansion enclosure, you can expand the capacity of your QNAP NAS and PCs. The TR-004U can also be used as a direct-attached storage (DAS) device, allowing you to access the content directly by connecting it via USB. The TR-004U features four 3.5" SATA drive bays, multiple RAID configuration options, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connectivity to provide you with a highly reliable and secure solution for expanding storage capacity.

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port enables faster data transfer. A USB cable up to 1 meter in length is recommended. It supports up to four SATA drives for reliable read and write performance. The DIP switch for disk mode allows switching between hardware and software control configurations to set the RAID group. Lockable drive bays protect against accidental drive removal. Users can configure RAID and monitor the disk status with the Storage & Snapshots Manager on a QNAP NAS. The device can be used to add storage space to a QNAP NAS, serve as hardware-based RAID storage, and offers cross-platform file sharing for users.
