The task of a good HiFi speaker is to present music in a living space as convincingly and authentically as possible. The Q 3010i meets these requirements effortlessly with its two-way system, consisting of a 100 mm mid-bass driver and a 22 mm tweeter. Thanks to the elaborate crossover and the significantly larger cabinet volume compared to its predecessor, the compact speaker also offers surprisingly voluminous and powerful bass reproduction. The Q 3010i speakers can be placed either using the included rubber feet on a shelf, on optional stands, or directly on the wall with the available mounting brackets.
From the front, the 3010i bookshelf speakers feature the same acoustically optimal profile as their predecessors; however, the cabinets of the new speakers are slightly taller and 25% deeper. The larger volume allows for a noticeably deeper and more powerful bass reproduction despite the tiny cabinet dimensions. An additional advantage is that the greater distance between the sound baffle and the rear wall significantly reduces any unwanted noise generated by the movement of the bass driver and reflected by the cabinet's rear wall. Instead of a built-in terminal on the back of the box, the Q 3010i features a new, particularly flat mounted connection panel that ensures significantly improved stability of the cabinet while still being suitable for 4 mm banana plugs. The speakers in the 3000i series are available in four cabinet finishes: graphite gray, English walnut, carbon black, or Arctic white. All models feature an attractive chrome ring around each chassis and magnetically attached front grilles, allowing them to integrate perfectly into any living space.
