GBIC-105 Singlemode SFP Module

SFP modules (Small Form-factor Pluggable), commonly known as GBIC (Gigabit Interface Converter), are modules that convert an electrical signal into an optical signal. The GBIC-105 Tornado module is designed for transmission over singlemode fiber (SM) over distances of up to 20 km. TX wavelength is 1310 nm, RX wavelength is 1550 nm, and the transmission speed is 1.25 Gbit/s. The module features an LC connector with a locking system that prevents accidental disconnection.

For proper communication with another device, use the GBIC-106 module. The SFP module includes an integrated digital diagnostic monitoring system (DDM) that allows the user to monitor the basic parameters of module operation in real-time. These parameters include supply voltage, temperature, optical output power of the transmitted signal, and the power of the signal received by the receiver. The module is intended for use in devices from various manufacturers that do not implement security measures. It is compatible with TP-LINK devices, ULTIPOWER, or CISCO devices. This SFP module will not function with devices from manufacturers that utilize security.
