The new Puck series from Poynting offers a low-profile antenna designed for use in IoT/M2M, smart metering, smart utilities, transportation, marine, and agriculture sectors. The Puck-7 features a 4-in-1 antenna system housed in a single enclosure with 2x2 MIMO 5G and 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi (dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). The 2x cellular MIMO antennas (for 2G/3G/4G and 5G) provide broadband coverage from 617 to 6000 MHz, covering modern LTE/4G and 5G bands for future-proof implementation. The ultra-broadband performance of the cellular antennas allows for use across various operators and technologies, and it is ready for future mobile technologies up to 6 GHz for 5G applications.

The antenna includes two separate dual-band Wi-Fi antennas that simultaneously offer 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, supporting 802.11n and 802.11ac/ax/be with 2x2 MIMO. The Puck outperforms many competitors due to the careful design of this high-performance antenna. The radiation patterns of all radiating elements provide an excellent balance between omnidirectional behavior, pattern diversity, and good radiation capabilities at the desired height, which is often overlooked in such a small antenna. Despite its compact size, this antenna delivers outstanding performance, particularly at higher frequency bands, where performance is critical for 5G and LTE throughput and connection stability. This antenna is designed to connect both 5G/LTE ports to the router/device to ensure optimal performance.
