The OMNI-706 is a dual-band Wi-Fi omnidirectional antenna developed by Poynting Antennas. It is part of the new "Rhyno" antenna series and covers the 2.4 GHz and 5-6 GHz Wi-Fi bands, allowing for excellent utilization of the radio spectrum. The antenna has a maximum gain of 2 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 4.8 dBi in the 5 GHz band, providing enhanced performance with reliable connections. The OMNI-706 is an exceptional omnidirectional antenna for its size. It can be connected to any Wi-Fi access point, whether it uses older Wi-Fi technology or the new dual-band Wi-Fi technology. The antenna can be used to alleviate channel congestion and provide ultimate Wi-Fi performance and flexibility. It is also suitable for point-to-point connections in high RF noise environments and cluttered settings. The robust housing design offers protection against harsh environmental conditions with an IP 69K rating and IK 10 impact resistance. The antenna comes with an N-type socket at the base, which can be connected to a cable of the desired type and length.
