These antennas are typically used for IoT applications in tunnels to enable telemetry and mining automation. This broadband helical antenna extends around tunnel curves in a non-line-of-sight scenario and offers immunity to many signal-interfering objects such as trains and drilling machines that obstruct the tunnel.
