The Vienna Secession was founded in 1897 by a group of progressive artists, including Gustav Klimt, Otto Wagner, and Koloman Moser, in Vienna. It was a response to the conservative and rigid historicism of the established art scene. As a cooperative of youth, they instead promoted Art Nouveau. In addition to painting, the artists, architects, and designers also dedicated themselves to sculpture, architecture, and furniture design. With their works, they made Vienna one of the centers of this art style in the following years. This postcard set gathers twenty of the most beautiful motifs from painting and crafts. All motifs can be easily detached and used as postcards.
