DVB-S/S2 to DVB-C conversion of 8 DVB-S/S2 transponders. The compact HDTV headend PCU 8510 converts signals from eight satellite transponders into DVB-C channels. It allows intervention in the transport stream to delete programs, adjust NIT/ONID data, or implement program mapping via the LCN function. The option to assign new TS-IDs or SIDs through the remapping function completes the practical functionality of the devices. The output modulation can be changed to DVB-T via a software update.
